One day we were going through our molds and found some wonderful antique designs. My wife runs an estate jewelry business and noticed a dramatic increase in demand in her rose gold pieces. We decided to cast some of the molds in rose gold and test the market. This modest beginning had a huge snowball effect and we realized that we were on the cutting edge of a new trend of rose gold jewelry. Our rose gold is 14k rose gold which contains 40% copper, 58.5% gold and 1.5% zinc. All gold is alloyed in some way either to harden it and make it easier to work with or to change its color. 14k rose gold when it is allowed the correct way has a rich pink hue and is very distinctive. It took me years to perfect the the color of the red and to make the findings we use in our jewelry. Our newest web site
www.rosegoldjewelry.com is finished and there will be new items added to it weekly as I create new designs for it.
